PRESS RELEASE — Comprehensive Knowledge Base (DRAFT v3)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Embargo: [SET ON DISTRIBUTION]

AntiAlienate Releases World's Most Comprehensive Open-Source Knowledge Base on Parental Alienation — 26 Deeply-Investigated Cases Across 18 Jurisdictions, 10-Page Primary-Source Evidence Corpus, 12 Practitioner Playbooks, All Free

[CITY / DATE] — AntiAlienate.com today announced the public release of the world's most comprehensive open-source reference repository on parental alienation, consolidating ~100,000 words of primary-source citations, deeply-investigated case studies, step-by-step practitioner playbooks, and shareable educational material — all available free under a CC BY 4.0 licence.

The repository, hosted at github.com/AntiAlienate/antialienate-knowledge, now spans:

  • 26 deeply-investigated case studies across 18 jurisdictions (UK / Canada / US / ECHR / AU / Germany / France / Spain / Italy / Netherlands / Brazil / Mexico / Argentina / Poland / India / Singapore / Hong Kong / South Africa) — with named participants, journalism trails, and doctrinal-arc analysis. Includes the landmark UK Re Y [2026] EWFC 38 Melanie Gill set-aside, the Brazilian STJ "no-automaticity" doctrine on Lei 12.318/2010, the German BVerfG and Italian Cass. 9691/2022 constitutional rejections of PAS as pseudoscience, and Argentina's CSJN explicit recognition.
  • 10-page primary-source evidence corpus (~55,000 words) covering PA-as-child-abuse evidence, mental-health outcomes, reunification-therapy outcomes (no programme has independent peer-reviewed efficacy data), forensic court operation (Meier 2020 NIJ-funded 4,338-case dataset), international institutional positions (WHO/UN/CoE/APA/APSAC), prevalence claims, diagnostic codes that actually apply, evaluator training asymmetry, standard-of-proof analysis, and a practitioner distillation
  • 12 practitioner playbooks covering first 90 days for targeted parents, court preparation, working with lawyers, reunification therapy, teen alienation, documentation systems, accused-of-alienation defense, cross-border/Hague, grandparent cases, evaluator selection, PA and DV overlap, step-parent dynamics
  • 19 profile pages on the field's leading clinicians and researchers — recognition camp (Bernet, Warshak, Baker, Eddy, Harman, Kruk, Woodall, Childress, Lorandos, Bone, Tejedor, Dijkstra, von Boch-Galhau, Gottlieb, Bala, Fidler, Kelly, Johnston) AND critique camp (Silberg) included for intellectual honesty
  • Cross-jurisdictional comparison matrix synthesising 18 jurisdictions into 8 doctrinal groups with direction-of-travel timeline 2010-2026
  • A live auto-accumulator that polls PubMed, CrossRef, CourtListener, BAILII, and Reddit every 25 minutes and pushes new findings into a daily digest
  • Recognised editorial standards (CONTRIBUTING.md) requiring primary-source citation with working URLs on every load-bearing claim

"This is the resource that parents in crisis, lawyers preparing submissions, clinicians making evaluations, judges weighing custody decisions, and journalists writing about family courts all need — and never had until now," said Alan Markson, who catalogues the AntiAlienate.com project. "The PA field has been served by partisan advocacy and paywalled academic publications. The Highway is what neither has been: comprehensive, balanced, primary-source-cited, and free."

What makes the project distinct

  • Open-source under CC BY 4.0 — adapt, translate, share, build on
  • Both sides represented with primary-source quotation throughout — the repo's /the-debate/ section maps recognition vs. critique honestly
  • Continuously updated — background agent adds fresh court rulings and academic citations daily
  • Cross-jurisdictional depth — common-law (UK/US/Canada/AU/SG/HK/India), civil-law (DE/FR/ES/IT/NL/BR/MX/AR/PL), regional human-rights (ECHR Article 8 cluster: Lombardo → Strumia → Improta), constitutional courts (BVerfG, Italian Cassazione, Argentine CSJN, Polish Sąd Najwyższy)
  • Honest gaps openly documented — including the absence of a clean US appellate reversal of a substantive PA finding, the lack of independent peer-reviewed reunification-program outcome data, and the absence of defensible population prevalence estimates
  • Practitioner-actionable distillations — the What Court Submissions Can Honestly Claim page translates the evidence corpus into operational filing language for both sides

Editorial standards

Material is curated by independent contributors and reviewed against CONTRIBUTING.md. Primary-source citation with a working URL is required on every load-bearing claim. Where children's identities are anonymised in published judgments, the writeup works within that anonymisation. Where a fact could not be verified, the writeup says so.

Distribution channels

The full repository is at github.com/AntiAlienate/antialienate-knowledge. A web-based reading view is in preparation at knowledge.antialienate.com. Pull requests are welcomed from clinicians, lawyers, and affected parents in any jurisdiction.
