Press Kit — DRAFT (staged for Adam's review)

This folder contains pre-launch press materials for the AntiAlienate knowledge-base public-release announcement. Nothing here is distributed externally yet. All materials are staged for review and edit before any outreach goes out.

Releases (three angles to pick from / combine)

  • release-v1.md — Initial launch release. "Largest open-source PA knowledge base."
  • release-v2-evidence-launch.md — Evidence-corpus angle. "10-page primary-source evidence base." Strongest standalone news angle for trade press (Above the Law, Bloomberg Law, BBC Family Court, Above the Law).
  • release-v3-knowledge-base-comprehensive.md — Comprehensive angle. "26 cases, 18 jurisdictions, 10 evidence pages, 12 playbooks." Strongest for general legal/family-law press and for organisational endorsements (PASG, advocacy orgs, professional associations).

Supporting materials

  • one-pager.md — single-page fact sheet for journalist quick-read
  • influencer-outreach.md — Tier 1-4 list with verified emails, personalised email template + critic-variant template
  • launch-copy.md — pre-written copy for HackerNews / Reddit / X / LinkedIn
  1. Adam review — read and edit all three releases; pick which to use (could send v2 to trade press + v3 to general / advocacy press, or use one as the master)
  2. Fill in [TO FILL] placeholders — media contact, name, email, phone
  3. Tier-1 influencer outreach — send personalised emails 48h before public launch
  4. Public launch day:
  5. HN post in US morning window (Tue–Thu)
  6. Reddit posts 1–2 hours later
  7. X/Twitter thread same window
  8. LinkedIn post same day or next morning
  9. Day 2–3: assess traction; trigger paid wire (EIN Presswire ~$100 or PRWeb ~$400) if organic warrants
  10. Week 2: follow-up to non-responding Tier-1 influencers

Strategy notes

  • Three releases ≠ three launches. They're three angles to fit the audience. Pick one as the primary and send tailored variants to specialist outlets.
  • Organic before paid — HN/Reddit pickup justifies paid wire spend; paid wire without organic underneath is mostly SEO trail
  • Influencer endorsement > press pickup — a single retweet from Bernet, Warshak, or Silberg compounds for years
  • Truthful claims only — every numerical claim in v2 and v3 must be verifiable from the live repo at time of release
  • No paid placements in journalism outlets — the open-source ethos forbids it and would taint future earned-media credibility

What's NOT in this kit yet

  • Image assets / logos / repo screenshots — to add before launch
  • Demo video or screencast — optional but high-leverage
  • Translation of releases into FR/DE/NL/ES — defer to post-launch
  • Founder bio — to add when Adam confirms attribution preferences
  • knowledge.antialienate.com URL — currently shows as "in preparation"; will be live once Adam picks website path + sets DNS
