Barbara Jo Fidler, PhD, C.Psych.¶
Clinical-forensic psychologist. The clinical counterpart to Nick Bala.
Why she matters here¶
Fidler co-authored the field's most balanced practitioner text — Children Who Resist Postseparation Parental Contact — which evaluators, judges, and lawyers across North America treat as the differential-diagnosis reference. She trains parenting coordinators and reunification therapists internationally. If a Canadian evaluator references the "differentiated approach" to resist-refuse cases, that's Fidler's framework.
