TL;DR¶
Denmark's Forældreansvarsloven (Parental Responsibility Act 2007, in force 1 Oct 2007) governs forældremyndighed (parental authority), residence, and contact. The 2019 establishment of Familieretshuset (Family Court House) consolidated family-court matters into a one-stop system. 2024 amendments strengthened anti-violence framework. Hague 1980 (1991) + Hague 1996 (2011). Brussels IIb opt-out (Denmark not bound by EU justice regulations). Nordic Cooperation framework applies with Nordic neighbors.
